There are a couple of new controllers that will be released next month for the Nintendo Switch. They are not official controllers by Nintendo however they are from a licensed third party, Power A. One of these new controllers will be for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the other one will be for Super Mario. These controllers will be released on October 23, 2017, just four days before the release of Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch.
Both controllers appear to be identical, except for one having Zelda graphics and the other one having Super Mario graphics. According to the Amazon product listing, the controllers are wired and will have the following features:
Six interchangeable analog caps for custom control
Soft-touch rubber grips for added comfort
10ft Removable USB cable
These controllers are being advertised as wired controllers, however, with the removable USB cable one has to wonder if they can be used wirelessly as well. These controllers are officially licensed by Nintendo and each one will cost $29.99.
