Geralt From The Witch Franchise Joins the Roster in Soul Calibur VI

News: One of the guest characters in Soul Calibur VI comes from one of the most popular RPG franchises of the last few years.

Bandai Namco has revealed the next character that will make an appearance in Soul Calibur VI. The highly skilled Witcher will now enter a new realm of great warriors in Soul Calibur VI who are poised to challenge Geralt’s renowned sword fighting skills in glorious battle.

Known for featuring compelling guest characters throughout its 20+ year history, the Soul Calibur franchise now has Geralt join the ranks of Link, Yoda, Darth Vader, and others, to bring his swordsmanship to bear upon the most skilled fighters throughout history.

In addition to Geralt joining the lineup Soul Calibur VI will also have some new features. These will include:

Unreal Engine

For the first time in Soul Calibur’s history, the 3D character models, visual effects, and arenas will be rendered in Unreal Engine.

New Battle Mechanics

You can read your opponent’s attacks and try to land a strategic Reversal Edge to land a counter attack while you are defending.

Multiple Fighting Styles

There will be many different warriors for you to choose from. Each one will have different weapons, fighting styles and their own personal flare.

Dynamic Battles

New battle mechanics coupled with the high speed battles that Soul Calibur is known for will take the gameplay in Soul Calibur VI to the next level.
