Battlefield V 2019 Roadmap Revealed by DICE and EA

News: Some new content will be arriving in Battlefield V throughout the year, beginning next week with Firestorm.

Battlefield V is moving right along with its battle royale mode arriving next week and now we know what the road map looks like throughout the remainder of 2019. Battlefield V is of course set during World War II. In Battlefield V you will witness the conflict through the eyes of men and women of World War 2 and experience untold stories of human drama, filled with Battlefield moments with the return of War Stories. You will experience the freezing Norwegian landscapes as a young Norwegian resistance fighter or come ashore into the desert heat of North Africa - and more.

In new and classic multiplayer modes, you can lead your own unique Company to victory in a dynamic multiplayer experience where every battle is unique. The Company allows players to create and deeply customize their soldiers, weapons, and vehicles that will evolve as they progress, covering everything from the way they look to the way they play. Fan favorite modes like the 64-player Conquest return, with the game’s multiplayer culminating in Grand Operations, an all-new live, event-based experience within Tides of War. These multimap multi-mode dynamic events take players through vast historical battles to relive moments of bravery and desperation while fighting to the final objective.

For those who have been enjoying everything that Battlefield V has to offer, this is what is currently planned for the rest of the year:

Chapter 3: Trial by Fire

The Firestorm Battle Royale mode officially goes live in the game on March 25, while April will bring added challenges to the Combined Arms mode. In June, players can secure and build objectives to endure the fight in a new multiplayer game mode called Outpost.

Chapter 4: Defying the Odds

This will introduce even more new ways to play Battlefield V starting in June with a new Marita multiplayer map taking place in Greece in late 1940 and a new 5-vs-5 mode set in tight arenas.

Chapter 5: Awakening the Giant

This arrives in Fall 2019 as Battlefield V continues its evolution and expansion. More details about this chapter will be revealed at a later date.
