Double Fine and Boneloaf have just released Gang Beasts on Xbox One. To celebrate, Double Fine’s Tim Schafer and other members from the team will be hosting a live stream of Gang Beasts on Mixer this afternoon. The stream kicks off at 3 PM PST which you can view here.
Set in the fictional metropolis of Beef City, Gang Beasts is a silly multiplayer party game with surly gelatinous characters, brutal mêlée fight sequences, and absurdly hazardous environments. As on the other platforms, the Xbox One version will feature: a custom procedural animation system; fun characters that can climb, grab, dive, headbutt, jump, kick, lift, punch, push, pull, slide, & throw; miscellaneous contextual hazards, a soundtrack by Adam (Doseone) Drucker and Robert (Dirty Bob) Larder and much much more.
Some key features include the following:
Custom procedural animation system gives significant variation of character movement
Soundtrack and game audio by Adam (Doseone) Drucker and Robert (Dirty Bob) Larder
Game Beasts normal price is $19.99, however, it is on sale right now with a 20% discount to celebrate the launch. This sale will go for a couple of weeks until April 9th. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us what you think. Will you pick up Gang Beasts on Xbox One?
