News: The two games on offer this month can’t really be more different, which should offer a nice change of pace for some gamers.

”PlayStation

If you are a PlayStation Plus member you will be receiving two free games in the month of August. Sony has finally revealed that those will be and one of them is a collection that has a couple of games in it, so even though you are only going to be downloading two items, you’ll actually have access to a little more. These games will be available for download beginning Tuesday, August 6th, for PlayStation Plus members on PlayStation 4.

Wipeout Omega Collection

This Wipeout collection combines Wipeout 2048, Wipeout HD, and the HD Fury expansion. In Wipeout you have to race against the clock, as well as your competition, to claim victory. By doing so you can unlock dozens of other ships as you go through 26 different tracks. There is online play as well where the competition can get really stiff as you go head to head on these high-speed tracks. There is also local multiplayer so if you have a friend over you can play against one on one sitting on the couch in your living room.

Sniper Elite 4

The fourth edition in the Sniper Elite franchise, you will be tasked with going behind enemy lines and trying to drive out the Axis forces from the Italian peninsula. The environments are huge where you will have to take out enemies as a covert operative before lining up your shot to take out the real reason you are there, the high-value targets.

As you make your way through the world you will be able to set up traps and use explosives. If you are quiet enough you can take down an enemy without firing a shot. You can even team up with a friend online in the co-operative campaign mode. There is also competitive multiplayer for up to 12 players.

Be sure to check out the trailers for each game below and tell us what you think. Will you be playing these titles? What do you want in the September lineup?
