Two Point Hospital from Two Point Studios and Sega has finally arrived on consoles. The digital versions are available in the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and the eShop, as well as the physical version being available at your favorite game store. Two Point Hospital was originally released on PC back in August 2018 and has grown pretty popular since its release. The console version will eventually have everything the PC version has to offer as well. At launch Two Point Hospital on console does not have the “Sandbox Mode” or “The Superbug Initiative”, however, that content will be available as a free update on March 31, 2020, so you won’t have to wait too long to get it.
Two Point Hospital has sold over a million copies on PC and is essentially the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital from back in the day. With this new title finally being available on console there is even better news for Xbox Game Pass members. Two Point Hospital is participating in that program, which means you can download it and play it as much as you want right now, for free.
Two Point Hospital has seen many free features added since its PC launch, such as Interior Designer, copy-paste room layouts and character customization, which have all been made available on consoles. Players that enjoy sandbox play won't have to wait too long, as both Sandbox Mode and The Superbug Initiative will automatically be added across all platforms on March 31st. In The Superbugs Initiative players collaborate with each other across the globe and complete challenges to unlock new in-game rewards. Finally, Two Point Hospital on consoles will also include two DLC packs, 'Bigfoot' and 'Pebberley Island', where players can explore new areas and region-specific illnesses.
Two Point Hospital is available for $39.99 on all platforms. Check out the launch trailer below and tell us what you think. Can you cure all of your patients and build the best hospital around?
