News: The Outer Worlds hasn’t been out a year yet but Obsidian is already hard at work on a new RPG for Series X and PC.

”Avowed”

One of the surprises shown at the Xbox Games Showcase was Obsidian’s next title, Avowed. There isn’t a whole lot known about this title right now other than it is being advertised as being on only Xbox Series X and PC. The trailer (see below) shows off some impressive looking visuals and it appears that Avowed will take place in Eora, the setting for Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity, which was released back in 2015.

Of course when watching the trailer below the Elder Scrolls series immediately came to mind when checking out the first-person gameplay. Whether Avowed turns out anything like that remains to be seen but it looks like it will be another Obsidian RPG that we can all get into and enjoy.

Check out the reveal trailer below and then tell us what you think. Are you excited for Avowed? What would you like to see in it?
