News: Master Chief has some new tricks this time around in an environment exponentially bigger than previous titles.

”Halo

Halo Infinite was shown off during Microsoft’s Xbox Showcase and just judging from what little we have seen it seems like it is going to be a lot of fun. The gameplay demo that we were shown today started a few hours into the campaign. The Master Chief and his pilot are shot down by anti-air guns and crash land on the ring. From there it is your job to disable all of those guns so that you can continue your journey. It looked really nice and showcased some of the different weapons that you will use in the game including the MA40 Assault Rifle and the new VK78 Commando. There is also a new grappleshot that you can use to close the distance quickly between you and the enemy and I even saw an enemy throw something at you in the heat of combat.

During the gameplay demo we were also introduced to the Banished, a group that was first introduced in Halo Wars 2. We are definitely going to have the iconic Halo enemies in the game but I was also excited to see this new group and to expand on their story from Halo Wars 2. Microsoft has also revealed that the Halo Infinite environment is several times larger than the last two Halo games combined.

Check out the gameplay demo from below and then tell us what you think. Will you be picking up Halo Infinite when it launches later this year?
