EA Play and Xbox Gamepass Conversion Details Revealed

News: If you are currently a member of EA Play details have been revealed about how you will be converted to Xbox Game Pass next month.

EA Play is joining Game Pass next month when the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch. When this happens you will be able to play all of the games offered in EA’ s service, along with enjoying in-game challenges and rewards, member-only content, and early trials of some new EA games on Xbox platforms.

If you ever decide that you're only interested in EA Play and don't want to be a member of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate anymore, Microsoft is making that easy. All you need to do is cancel your Ultimate subscription and join EA Play again when your Ultimate membership ends. Your library of games, saved game progress, and earned member benefits will all be waiting for you when you come back.

If you've already paid for several months of EA Play in advance, Microsoft has you covered as well. On November 10, any remaining time you have over 50 days will be rounded up and automatically converted into bonus time on your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription at a ratio of 3:1.

Here are some examples of how it works:

If you have between 50 days and 3 months of EA Play already on your account when EA Play comes to Ultimate, you will have 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added to your account.

If you have between 4 months and 6 months of EA Play already on your account when EA Play comes to Ultimate, you will have 2 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added to your account.

Please note that after conversion takes place, any upgraded prepaid time cannot revert back to Xbox Live Gold or other Xbox Game Pass plans, nor can it be refunded.
