Game Pass just keeps getting better as EA Play joins the program today. EA brings a substantial catalog to a service that already features well over 100 games that you can download and play for “free” as long as you are a member. Essentially Game Pass is the Netflix of gaming. In addition to now getting access to all of the games on the EA Play Playlist (formerly known as the EA Access vault), Game Pass members will also get 10% off of purchases of EA Games (digital versions) and the ability to test out some games prior to release.
The games that are available on the EA Playlist that are now available for Game Pass members includes the following:
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
Rocket Arena
Need for Speed Heat
Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville
FIFA 20
NHL 20
Madden NFL 20
Sea of Solitude
Anthem
Battlefield V
Burnout Paradise Remastered
Unravel Two
A Way Out
Fe
Mass Effect Andromeda
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
Dead Space 1
Dead Space 2
Dead Space 3
Dragon Age Inquisition
Crysis 3
...and so much more
We aren’t going to list every game on the Playlist but as you can see, there is a substantial number of games that Game Pass members now have access to playing. Additionally, future games should be on there at some point as well, such as the Mass Effect Legendary Edition that was recently announced, as well as the brand new Mass Effect game that was teased. It should be noted however, that these titles most likely will not be available day one on Game Pass. EA tends to put titles on the EA Playlist approximately 6-9 months after their initial release.
One of the great things about this is the inclusion of EA Play to Game Pass comes at no charge to the consumer. So for the same amount of money, your backlog just grew by quite a bit.
