Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released next week. As fans know the previous iterations of Call of Duty have come with some massive file sizes. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, for example, takes up around 231 gigabytes on my Xbox Series X. For Call of Duty: Vanguard though, Activision has promised the file size will be much smaller, at least initially. Vanguard’s size at launch will be significantly below prior releases. The difference will be up to 30-50% smaller on consoles and PC.
These are the estimated file sizes for Call of Duty: Vanguard when it launches next week:
Xbox Series X|S: 61 GB download | 61 GB required space
PlayStation 5: 64.13 GB download | 89.84 GB required space
Xbox One: 56.6 GB download | 56.6 GB required space
PlayStation 4: 54.65 GB download | 93.12 GB required space
There wasn’t any info on how much space will be required on PC, however, my guess is it will take up around the same amount of space as the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 version of the game.
