News: You can now get an early look at one of the newest simulators hitting the market and this time you can go to space.

”Spaceflight

Spaceflight Simulator, an engineering simulator with real-life physics where astronauts build rockets and explore the universe, lifts off into Steam Early Access today. Developer Stefo Mai Morojna and publisher DryGin Studios will reach for the stars with a Nintendo Switch version, coinciding with the Steam 1.0 release later this year.

In Spaceflight Simulator you will construct technologically advanced spaceships to pierce the atmosphere and explore the vastness of the galaxy. Pick and choose from hundreds of parts, from guidance systems to fins, to create the ultimate spacecraft. Put creations through exacting tests with realistic rocket physics. Persevere as ships fail time and again, and use the knowledge gained from each test to perfect the program.

You will be able to lift off and traverse the Milky Way. The cold dunes of Mars and the volcanic heat of Venus are just some of the many intergalactic locations waiting for intrepid explorers to finally enter their atmospheres. Each planet has accurate topographical details, along with real-life climates and gravity pulls, with every celestial body accurate in its overall mass. There is a whole solar system of opportunity for you to explore.

More than 20 million scientists have reached the cosmos, launching more than 300 million rockets via the App Store and Google Play. Also included with the Steam Early Access are the Parts, Skins, Planets, and Bundle DLC, adding Jupiter, its four moons, and new rocket parts, as well as ship skins exclusive to the PC version.

“Who would have guessed that something that started as a failed job application for the Kerbal Space Program would have brought tens of millions of space enthusiasts together?” Said Stefo Mai Morojna, lead developer. “We are ready for a whole new crew of scientists, engineers, and astronauts to join our ranks via Steam Early Access, and even more when we’re ready for the Nintendo Switch!”

Spaceflight Simulator lands on PC via Steam Early Access today for $11.99 USD. The game supports the English language. Will you be picking it up? Tell us what you think below.
