Assassin’s Creed Has Four Games in Development With the First Coming in 2023

News: To help celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the franchise, Ubisoft has revealed the future of the franchise over the next few years.

The Ubisoft Forward event has just concluded and there are a lot of things to be excited about. More specifically, Assassin’s Creed had a great showcase as they showed us what we can expect over the next few years. There are multiple games being worked on currently, a television show being developed with Netflix, a new adventure on mobile, and the Infinity project, which is going to be a central hub for all things Assassin’s Creed when it eventually releases over the next few years.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage - 2023

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage you will experience the story of Basim, a street thief that is seeking answers and justice. Throughout your journey, you will be navigating the streets of ninth-century Baghdad, with the events of the game taking place approximately 20 years before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Through a mysterious and ancient organization known as the Hidden Ones, Basim will become a deadly Master Assassin and completely change his fate.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter - No Release Information Given

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will arrive sometime in 2023 but there is also more Assassin’s Creed Valhalla content coming in the meantime. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Last Chapter was revealed at the event and will tie up some loose ends in the Valhalla storyline. Fans will also be happy to hear that this expansion content will be free of charge.

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red - No Release Information Given

The next Assassin’s Creed game that was revealed is something fans have been requesting for a very long time. The franchise is finally going to feudal Japan where you will get to live as a shinobi. I think that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next game that is going to be released so we still have a little bit of a wait for this one but it is good to know it is in development.

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe - No Release Information Given

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe is another title that is currently in development but we know almost next to nothing about it. During the event Ubisoft revealed a small teaser trailer for it, which you can see below.

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade - Coming Soon

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade is going to be a fully-fledged Assassin’s Creed game on mobile devices. This particular game is set in Ancient China 215 BCE. This new Assassin’s Creed game will incorporate a new feature into the franchise by giving you the ability to create your own character. Going through the game you will explore Ancient China and be able to do things such as being able to parkour up the Great Wall of China.

Assassin’s Creed: Infinity - No Release Information Given

We first heard about Assassin’s Creed: Infinity in 2021 but didn’t quite know what it was all about. Ubisoft has shed some light on the matter today though and it might not be what you were expecting. Assassin’s Creed: Infinity isn’t a new entry in the franchise, it is a central hub that will bring all of the games together. They plan to bring players together in “meaningful ways”, which led to the revelation that Ubisoft is also exploring ways to bring multiplayer back to the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Assassin’s Creed: Beyond the Creed Documentary

This is a documentary on the Assassin’s Creed franchise celebrating the past 15 years since the launch of the original in 2007. It goes over some of the franchise’s greatest moments and is something you will want to check out if you are a big Assassin’s Creed fan.
