News: There are a number of new demos that will be available for you to try out during Steam’s February event.

”Steam

The Steam Next Fest event is almost here which means there are going to be a lot of demos for you to check out to see if you want to buy a full version of a game once it is released. Below is a list of some of the demos you can look forward to seeing on Steam throughout this month.

USC: Counterforce

USC: Counterforce is a turn-based squad-tactics RPG set in an intense science fiction atmosphere. Players control a strike team of commandos who have been sent to planetary body M-8322 to investigate and eliminate an alien threat. Each of the game’s characters have their own unique skills and passive abilities and the game’s fully customizable campaign offers loads of replayability.

Super Space Club

Super Space Club is a lo-fi arcade space shooter to chill to. Embark into the galaxy with the perfect build and take on waves of endless foes. Paired with a vibrant and colorful cool-toned aesthetic, Super Space Club delivers a relaxing yet challenging arcade experience unlike any other. Outlast your enemies and vibe to the rhythm of the stars.

Tape to Tape

Tape to Tape tasks players with taking charge of a ragtag hockey team in a roguelite journey to the major leagues. Combining modern precision with fast-paced 90s-inspired action, Tape to Tape features a unique battle system in the form of a balanced simcade hockey experience. Hire superstars in the making, wield and upgrade puck-crushing equipment, and set out on the frigid path to victory.

The Last Plague: Blight

The Last Plague: Blight is an authentic survival experience, unlike anything you’ve endured before. Uncover the mystery behind an obscure disease and withstand a perilous open world that strives on punishing realism, immersion, and depth. Even when exhausted, starved, and alone, a glimmer of hope can be seen on the horizon. Are you willing to risk your life to see the Blight eradicated, or will you allow the disease to consume you?

The Last Starship

Be your own Captain Kirk in The Last Starship! This spaceship builder sim is from the same developers who made Prison Architect. As your crew awaits your orders, it’s time to build your ship. Whether you select from a range of pre-packaged fleets or build your own, you’ll need to use the local depot to grab everything you need. Start with a reactor to power your engines, and lay down your ship’s pipework and electrical systems to ensure optimal power while managing life support and other ship-wide systems.

As you explore the universe and complete missions, you’ll earn rewards to continuously upgrade all aspects of your ship.

Sanctuary Saga

A new take on classic party-based RPGs, Sanctuary Saga has players assembling a guild and guiding them through the dangerous Untamed Wilds while maintaining the group’s relationships with each other. Explore four unique biomes, master the game's turn-based combat with a row-based skill system, and learn how to utilize each of the six characters equipped with their own unique skills. Be sure to monitor your group's relationships with one another! Something as simple as hurt feelings could mean the difference between survival and the end of your journey.

Which of these games are you looking forward to the most? What other games do you want to try out?
