The SK Hynix Beetle X31 SSD 2TB drive recently arrived on the market and it is an impressive piece of equipment. The specs for it sounded impressive and I was excited to try it out. It did not disappoint as the product has performed as advertised so far. I immediately plugged in the hard drive to immediately put it to the test. I transferred some large files to see if the read and write speeds where as advertised and I was impressed. The SK Hynix Beetle X31 SSD 2TB boasts a sequential read and write speed of up to 1,050 MS/s (read) and up to 1,000 MB/s (write). This external hard drive is also compatible with just about anything. It is great to use as an external for your PC or laptop. Others will get a lot of use out of it by simply using it as a drive to back up some of your most important files. What I personally like to do is put seasons of my favorite television shows (or movies) on these drives for when I travel. Then when I get to my hotel room I hook the drive up to the USB port of the hotel tv and I immediately have access to all of my favorite stuff to watch. It is incredibly fast and its small form factor allows me to easily take it anywhere, whether it is to work or on the road like in my example earlier.
