A new game is heading to Steam later this year in the form of Slip n’ Slime, a Sokoban puzzle game. Featuring retro graphics and a charming color palette, Slip n’ Slime challenges players to move across different biomes, overcome obstacles, and solve puzzles to reach the next level. A free demo is available now on Steam.
Slip n’ Slime is a casual puzzle adventure set in a pixelated fantasy world. Inspired by retro Sokoban titles, Slip n’ Slime invites players to move around a map to reach different objectives. Pick a direction for your squishy slime to slide; your slime stops when it runs into an object or barrier. From there, redirect your path to inch closer to the end of the level. Complete the level by finding a proper set of moves to slide your slime to the finish.
Slip n’ Slime boasts casual gameplay, perfect for playing for a few minutes or bingeing in a day. With over 100 hand-crafted levels, players can sink hours into this magical adventure. Moves are unlimited, and there are no time restraints, making Slip n’ Slime a perfect fit for seasoned Sokoban players and novices alike. Explore unique biomes as you slide your way through different puzzles, including the Autumn Forest, mystical Crystal Caves, the magical Wizard’s Domain, and more. Each biome introduces new mechanics for your slime to overcome. Move boxes to cover traps, collect keys to open doors, and use grates to resize your slime and access new areas of the map.
For a casual experience, Slip n’ Slime features low-stakes challenges suited to every player. If you fall through a trap or slide off the map, your slime instantly resets to its previous position. If you’re feeling stuck, reverse your moves to reconfigure your slime on the map. Zone out for hours as you move around the map and enjoy the game’s punchy audio effects.
