Astragon Entertainment and Independent Arts Software have announced a brand-new maritime simulation game, Seafarer: The Ship Sim. This new simulation title will arrive on PC via the Early Access program in both Steam and the Epic Games Store beginning Summer 2025 for the retail price of $24.99 / ₤20.99 / 24,99€ (SRP).
Set Sail for Adventure
Experience life at sea as you take the helm of various vessels and carve your own path in an expansive maritime world. Join different factions, each offering unique missions and rewards, from cargo transportation and fire-fighting on open waters to high-stakes rescues and treasure recovery. With a diverse fleet ranging from nimble tugboats to massive freighters, every voyage presents fresh challenges and surprises.
A fully interactive ship experience awaits—walk freely around your vessel, conduct maintenance, operate heavy machinery, and even take control of water cannons to battle onboard fires. Every decision shapes your journey, ensuring no two adventures are the same.
Two Ways to Play
Engage in a gripping storyline in Story Mode, where all factions intertwine across a series of thrilling missions, or explore freely in Quick Play Mode, charting your own course at sea. The character editor allows players to personalize their captain, adding a unique touch to the experience.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Seafarer: The Ship Sim boasts breathtaking visuals, from meticulously detailed ship models to dynamic seascapes. Ports bustle with activity, oil rigs rise against the horizon, and unpredictable waters keep players on their toes. Enhanced by NVIDIA WaveWorks 2.0, waves react naturally to changing weather and ship movement, delivering an incredibly lifelike seafaring experience.
Key Features:

Varied Career: Different factions offer different missions, each with their own gameplay elements. Explore the extensive world, load valuable cargo or help ships in distress.
