E3 2002: Profile Roundup: E3 was a definite hoe-down, now it's time to roundup the hottest from the show (And, what I just said doesn't refer to E3 booth babes)
The conclusion to E3 may have been last Friday, however the events that took placing during that three day period at the L.A. Convention Center will impact the gaming industry for the next several months. Every year, the media is able to witness the latest videogames on display and be in attendance as new titles are announced. The Electronic Entertainment Expo was no different in 2002 especially with the presence of three powerful consoles, two of which simultaneously launched the same month this past fall. In addition to the three platforms at E3, the dominant leader of portable gaming was in full gaming gear, despite not being pressured by any competition. As anyone can expect, it turned out to be another exciting expo in showcasing the freshest and the finest before rolling out onto store shelves.
Even as thrilling as this year's expo was, the hundreds of companies displaying their assortment of games within 72 hours seemed like madness. This is the sole reason we are here less than a week after the show. Each Gaming Target editor from all three sections has taken time to break down the expo in profiling they're favorite console games displayed on the showfloor. Find out all the information you need about they're picks, including why they're at the top of the list and should be in your hands upon releasing.
