Walkthrough: Two weeks ago Phil laid down his thoughts on EA's latest Medal of Honor title, Rising Sun. Now he lets out the secret of how to best win the war in this full walkthrough of MoH: Rising Sun.

Day of Infamy (Intro)
December 7, 1941
You start off and everyone is running out the door to get topside. Follow them out the door and take a right. Go down the hall and take a left right before the guy getting electricuted. When you get in take another right and meet with Joe Griffin. Follow him through the bathroom and out the door. Go straight into the barber shop and take a left inside. Go through the doorway on the right and follow that path around and out the door. When you get out take a left and go up the stiars. Take a right and go down the hall. You have to jump (triangle) over the rubble, then crouch (square) to get under the fallen bars. When you get to the end of the hall take a left and go up the stairs. When you reach the top, take another left and BOOM! Now you have to extinguish the fires. After you extinguish the first flame, extinguish the flames in the left doorway and the whole room to complete a bonus mission. Now leave the room and take a left to extinguish more flames. Clear the hallway and extinguish the doorway to give the fire extinguisher to the cook looking guy. After he gets rid of the first set of flames, take a right at the end of that same room. Go straight and you will find a telephone which is supposed to be "hidden" and you can save your game. Save your game and go out the door on the right. Take a left and go up the two sets of stairs. Watch the mini-video and get the gun from the guy in the blue pants. Now, screw the gun, head right and there is a mounted machine gun. Man that, and start shooting the planes. The planes come from the left and straight ahead. If I can shoot down eight of them I know you can too. Save your game and continue on...

Pearl Harbor
December 7, 1941
Watch the video and now you manned another gun. SHOOT THE PLANES!! You get another bonus mission if shoot more than twenty planes. Once your done with the first half, you get to escort another boat and holy crap! Look up and you can see hundreds of planes! It's your job to excort the boat which is only about one and a half minutes. Finish this mission, watch the footage, save your game and continue on.

Fall of the Philipines
January 7, 1942
When you start off head left. Avoid the barrels if you can, they'll have a sudden urge to blow. Get to the end of the bridge and meet with the guy in the white shirt. Clear the Japs out of the way and head towards the tank. It says you need to kind a cogwheel. If you need it there is a Medical Kit to the left from your brother. The cogwell is loceted in the room right of the stairs and the tank. Put it on the tank and it is repaired. Follow the tank and kill the people on the right. There will be a guy with a machine gun on the right so watch out for him. Use the tank for cover, but don't hop onto it because it will stop. Follow the tank to the end up the street and go up the road. Don't let the Japs stab you because that takes out alot of health. Go into the first building on your left and kill the guy. Another guy will rush in so kill him to. If you havent already eat the soup. The go into the building across the dip and get the health and more soup. There is nothing important in the four buildings in the center, so go back to the same street and take a left at the end of it. Take a right at the end of the street and go into the wooden bulding on the left. If you need it pick up the Field Surgeon Pack on the floor and go up the stairs. Take the left into the room and shoot down the three guys on top of the building through the window. Exit the room using the same door and take a left to go outside. Follow the wooden plank on the right and sneak up on the guy to the left. Man the turret, kill everyone and take a right onto the street. Follow the street down and take a right towards the big double doored gates. On the sides of that street there is a tunnel, so go ahead and go through there. When you get to the fork in the path, take the right path. Go to the end and go up the stairs slowly. There will be a guy on "guard duty." Give him a nice headshot and head right into the big field, but do it slowly and don't shoot the barrles, yet. If you need it, there is a medical kit on the right from where you came in.а Stay on the right side, by the stadium looking area and go up the bleachers. Head into the first building and kill the guy there. Now go into the other building where the sniper was/is and man the turret. Start shooting away! If they are close to the barrels then shoot the barrels to make life easier. The last guy is pretty smart, but pull out your gun and shoot him. Exit the building and head right behind they gray thing. Watch out because there are three enemies there you need to get rid of. Head underground again and follow the tunnels. When you get to the circular tunnel on the right, go ahead and take it. When you get to the area with the three mini-crates in the middle, throw a grenade on it and get the goodies. Then continue on with the path. When you get out there will be a guy on the left and a sniper on the left balcony so go ahead and take them out. When you get out and go through the rubble, shoot the big crate untill the you get the Golden Buddha for a Bonus Mission. Crouch through the hole and take a left then an immediate right. When you get into the building take a left and go up the stairs on the right. When you get to the top, go on the other set of stairs on the right to the roof. Man the turret and shoot everyone by the crates and the tank. Go back downatairs and go outside the opposite way you came in. Go to the guy and you just found the lost explosives truck. Go behind the truck and in the path. Take a right by the tree and you will fine a "Film Canister."а Go back in front of the truck and take a left. Take another left in the first doorway and at the end up the church is a save point. Save your game and continue on. Before you leave go up the stiars by the doorway and ring the bell to signal the demolition soldiers. No go back to the truck and hop in the back. Again to make life easier, shoot the barrels, especially when the tank follows you. Throw some grenades (L2) if you want. Watch the video and your done. Save your game and continue on.

Midnight Raid on Guadalcanal
August 6, 1942
You start off in a boat with the sniper. There will be a group of guys on the right, then a group on the left. Once you're past them, go ahead and go ashore. Head through the jungle pathway sniping away at the Japs. Continue on untill you reach the camp and kill the two guys by the gun turret on the right side. Collect the Intelleigence Document and hop back into the boat. During the ride, one of your team members gets hit and falls into the water. Meet with some more of your squad and follow the Captain then HOLY SH**!! Suprise attack!! Kill everyone and go into the tunnel behind the gun turret. Take the right tunnel and take the jungle path when you get out. There will be a camp site up ahead. You can try to snipe them if you want, but the friggin Captain keeps getting in your line of fire. Keep going untill you reach the truck. Kill all the Japs and hop into the truck and man the gun. The friggin Captain gets right in front of you again. so try to avoid shooting that way. Keep following the path and there is a Field Surgeon Pack and a hole on the right. When you get to the outpost take the right path and get the ammo on top. When you get to the crane area, check out the left building for more Intellegence Documents. Head out and through the gates. When you get to the fork again, take the left towards the glowing lamp looking thing and into the tunnels for a a save point. Continue on through the path untill you reach another fork. This time, take the right route. When you get to the end, take the left and follow that path. Kill the guy in the turret and stay along the right wall. Take that path by the lamp looking thingy again. Follow the path all the way around and go by the gun turret to get more Intellegence Documents. Man the turret and start shooting away. Head out of the turret and take a right. There is a tunnel by the lamp. Shoot the red barrels and go into it. Shoot the guy, round the corner, and shoot the other red barrels. Go around and up the hill to shoot more red barrles. Head out of the tunnel and start following the path again. Stand behind the big rock on the right and snipe the people up ahead. Head into the tunnel and save your game. Now go back through the underground tunnel in which you came from and head towards the gun turret again. Now go into the tunnel over by the turret and head down the tunnel. When you get out go to the left of the rock will lead you toward the building. Go inside the building and man the turret on the back of the truck. Stand by the truck and snipe the guy in the tower and in the building across from you. Destroy the generator in the building to complete a bonus mission. Destroy the crate by the building to get a Medical Kit. Go out that way and continue on the path. Round the corner and your at another building. Go up the stairs into the building and go inside. Take the left and go straight. Go into the far rooms for some ammo and health. Now go back and up the stairs. Take a left and kill that guy and return and across the room. Go to the backroom and on the bed is some more Intellegence Documents. Go back to the top floor room and into the room on the side. Go down the stairs and to the left. Follow the path and go down the stairs and to the right. Kill the two guards by blowing up the barrel and go back and go to the left of the stairs. Clear the area and man the big gun turret. Shoot the far right "garage" to destroy the ammo depot and then shoot everyone else and the tank. Get out and take a left. Go out those back gates and make your way down to man the turret. Kill everyone and watch the video. Save your game and continue on.

Pistol Pete Showdown
October 14, 1942
Pretty simple level. Stay on the path and shoot everyone you encounter. When you get to the gun turret, man it, and shoot everyone. When your done, meet with the Austrailian guy and follow him. When he shows you to his cave, go in the very back for a save point. Go back and follow the guy to the top. Use his binoculars to see whats going on. Don't just go in and start shooting. Get behind a rock and listen to the conversation first. Kill everyone, then go free the prisoners. Check the buildings for any goodies that may be around. To the left of the building there is an opening on the gate. Go through there and up hill. Make it hasty, because there is enemy artillery being launched at you. When you get to the top head right and continue on the path. Get to the top of the hill and kill all the enemies. Secure it for a bonus mission. Continue on the path and cross the river and hurry up and man the turret. Start back on the path and meet up with the Australian again. Follow him up to the caves and through the maze of crates. At the end blow the artillary and save the game. Go through the newly opened doorway and follow the path outside. When you get outside, watch your left side. Now cross the bridge and go up the stairs. When you get to the top, take a right and kill the people as they man the turret. After the third person or so, head inside from the right. Watch him blow up the artillery and head into the newly opened door. There is alot of health in the crates if you need it. Go straight on the paths and clear the hilly area. Grab the film canister on the bottom-left and then work your way up top. Cross the tracks and go down the stairs if you need health. Go back up and the third artillery is destroyed. Hurry up and get across the bridge so your little buddy can destroy it. Watch the vid, save your game, and continue on.

Singapore Sling
March 12, 1943
Before you move anywhere, shoot the two guards then go up the ramp. Take a right at the top and stop on the middle of the bride. Get rid of the four other guards and continue on. Get on the boat on the right for some ammo and soup. When you get on the boat, head towards the right and up to the health. Stop there and go ahead and shoot the other two guards. When you get on top, head left and down the ramp for ammo. Come back up and kill all the enemies. Toward the left there is a Medical Kit if you need it. Continue on through the gates and take a left. The guy in the white shirt and in the buggy are your allies so don't try to shoot them. Get in the buggy and listen to what he says. Kill the enemies and continue on up the road. Go straight and take a left before the gate. Go through the back resturant door and save if you want to. Stand in the other doorway and "snipe" the three guards with the Welrod. Continue out and left on the street. If you take an immediate left out of the door there will be some ammo, and apparantly you can save your game through the wall, good job. Continue on up to the end of the road and take a right. There is nothing in the sewer aeea, but some ammo. If you look carefully between the two building on the left, you can get rid of two people there. Continue on the street and take a left. Go all the way down the street and take another left into the building and up the stairs. Follow the balcony across and into the little building. Rescue POW for 1/3 of a bonus mission. Now go down all the stairs and out the door. Taking a left will get you health, so get that and turn around. Follow the street up and apparently some guys pop out of nowhere. Shoot the guy through the window and the others in the back. Now go on the street and head into the building to the right of the stairs. Go underground and follow that path all the way to the end. Kill everyone and head up the ramp for a Film Canister. Go back through the path and out the building. Head right and then take a left at the wall. Meet with an Allie and go follow him. Talk with him a bit and kill everyone in that room. Head up the stairs and keep going up. Meet him outside and talk with him. He's blocking the stairs so now you have to ambush someones car. Throw the items and the car will crash. Steal Kandler's uniform and head up the stairs that should now be available.а Save your game if needed. Follow the rooftops and head down the stairs. Follow the ramp and resue another POW. Jump down and cross to the roof. Jump on the crates and up on the other roof. Get off the roof and follow the ramp down. Take a left into the room and kill everyone. Head out the door to rescue the third and final POW. Continue through the hall and down the stairs. Meet with Tanaka and get into the car. With your newly acquired uniform, you can just waltz right in so don't worry about shooting anyone, yet. Listen to the guy in the white and follow him. Head up the stairs and to the left. Go in the door to infiltrate the Axis Summit. Listen to the guy and wait. Your cover is blown and and you need to kill everyone. Grab the slide reel and exit the room. Exit the building through the back doors and take an immediate right. Get into the kitchen and collect some additional evidence and take a left. Save your game and go up the stairs. Get some more additional evidence up there and continue outwards. Head out the right door and pick up the third additional evidence. If you want to collect the final two pieces of the evidence head back by the hotel back doors and go look around there. Otherwise, exit the room and hop on the bus.

In Search of Yamashita's Gold
March 26, 1943
When you start take the left path and take another left. Follow the path untill you get to an uphill and a down hill path. Take the uphill one and sneak up behind the guy and do some sniping. Go back and take the downhill path now. Get past everyone and go up the hill. Behind the wall is a savepoint. SAVE YOUR GAME and keep going. Before you go out to far, I suggest you pull out the sniper and sniper the fifty million people that pop out. Also, don't man the turret because there are three more you'll have to go through. When you're done, continue on. There is a save point on the left so go ahead and save your game. Continue on the path and you finally reached the Flying Tiger's Crash Site. Tanaka will be on the left so go meet with him and follow the path. This one is a little bit more windy and narrow than the other ones, so peak through the brushes as you make turns. Head towards the temple and snipe the two gun turrets. Sit back and do some more sniping as they all come out, or you can be like me and run out of sniper ammo and use the Sten MKII. Head up the stairs and kill everyone. When you get in, head left and destroy the boxes. Grab the bazooka and go back the other way. Follow the path around untill you get to the big wooden doors. Kill everyone in in here and in front of Buddha, grab the Lotus Flower and to the right is a hallway. Follow the Hallway to a savepoint. Goа back and go through the doors untill you reach another set of wooden doors. Open them, but don't go out. Wait for the people to rush in, then snipe the guys on the balcony, then go out. On the right side will be a oom with more hallways. Open the big wooden doors on the left and pick up the film canister. Go back and open the other wooden doors. Throw some grenades in and take a left. When you get to the split in the hallways, take the right path. Destory the boxes for some ammo, and go back and take the left path. Then, you fall down and discover the gold. Now you have to be as quite as possible so take out the Sten MKII and kill people stealthfully. Kill the two people and go up the stairs and follow it around. Go underground and take the first right. Kill the two guards and rescue the pilot. Exit out and take a right. In the room with Buddha lying down, there is a savepont on the left. Save your game and continue on. Go back to the room where you went on and around the stairs and go right of the stairs. There will be an open door so go ahead and go through it. Watch for Buddha's falling head and continue outward. Continue on through the path and man the turrets. Notice the red barrels, yea, they will come in handy. Shoot them when people are near them. Kill everyone and escape the temple.

A Bridge on the River Kwai
March 26, 1944
Stay on the path and just kill everyone. Watch out for the snipers.а When you get on the train tracks take a right. Follow the tracks and take a left when you can. Get the new gun and continue on on the tracks. RUN towards the water tower and take a right to go up the hill. Kill the guy and roll the boulder to destroy the truck. Get back on the tracks and take another right to get a gun. Get on the track bridge and use your newly acquanted gun to destroy the truck. Meet the Chindits and when they stop, take the left path down hill. When you get back on the tracks. Head right into the cave and get all the good stuff. Leave the cave and head back on the tracks. When you get to the gates, take out the guards on the turrets and head to the left. When you get down the hill, take the left for a savepoint. Go back and take the right path to the bridge. Cross the bridge quickly and keep going. When you round the corner full of crates, watch for the gun turret. Throw a grenade at him and man the turret. One you kill everyone go to the elephant to ride him. Kill everybody while your riding him and destroy the last building by shooting all the crates in front of it.а Follow Bromley, but before you go uphill, take a left and save your game. Go up the hill and snipe the two towers and the guy on the right ledge. Cross the bridge on the left and go up the hill. Get into the crane and wreck the train. Work your way through the rubble emptying out the fuel tankers. Those are the circular black ones. Empty them by turning the red valve. Keep working your way through the rubble untill you meet with your Allie. Let him sabatoge the bridge and then follow him back off. Someone is going swimming.

Subcarrier Sabatoge
July 17, 1944
When you start off, head to the opposite side of the room and down the stairs. When you get to the bottom, take the first left and go to the red venilation door in the back to open the vent. Continue on down the hall and around the corners. Continue down the halls and if you need it, there is health in the rooms. When you round the next corner there will be another vent to open. After you open the second vent, open the door on the right get the ammo and new gun in the back. When you round the next corner, open the door to the kitchen for some health. Exit that door and go straight. Go into the left room now and open the vent in there. Go across the hall for some health. Exit the room and take three lefts. Follow the curvey hallway and head into the first door on the left. Clear that room and and grab the film canister and the health. Exit the room and go left. Enter the last room on the left and open the vent. Exit the room, take a right, open the first door, and save your game. Head out and down the stairs. Work your way around the balcony's and take the first right. From there take a left and into the room to open another vent and destory the fueling monitor. Then go to the other room on the other side of the hall and open that vent and destroy the fueling monitor. Go back out on the other side of the big room. On your way, destroy the four red fuel valves located on the big red fuel holders. When on the other side, take a left and go into the room to open another vent and destroy another fueling monitor. Now go to the room on the other side of the hall and open the last vent and destroy the last fueling monitor. Meet with your Allie in the center and follow him out. Oh shi*, your captured and the guy kills Tanaka. There is a save point in the far right room so go ahead and save it. Now follow the guy!! Take a right when you get out and go up the stairs. If your health gets low, go back and get the health by the save point if you haven't already done so. Destory the airplanes and go through the door on the far top-right corner. When you go up the stairs there is health and ammo in the crates if you need it. When you clear the hangar, go into the room on the opposite side to open the hangar doors and grab the imperial orders. Go back down and into the doors you just opened. Destroy the two planes and go up the stairs on the right. Follow the path and go in the door on the right. Stealthfully go up them and kill the guy straight ahead. Go back down the stairs and run up them and across the hall. Now take a left, and another left to hit the guy. Go back and go into the hall at the end. Head into the right room for health and ammo. Go back into the hall and take the left at the end to go up the stairs. DON'T cross the doorway yet. There are people waiting for you. Instead crouch and walk allong the wall on the left to hit them. When you get behind the table stand up and shoot the far guard down. Collect the imperial orders on the desk and go into the hall. Head into the left room and save your game. There is health in the bathroom across the hall. Exit the bathroom and take a right, then a left. Shoot the guard down and keep going. On the first right, there will be another guard peeking around the corner. Shoot him from the back. Head up the stairs at the end. Head into the first door on the left and send a false radio transmission for a bonus mission. Watch out too, there will be some angry guys behind you, if you haven't killed them already. Continue on the hall way and grab the imperial papers on the table and film canister. Go around and up the stairs. Kill the two guys and go outside to the left. Head down the stairs and destroy all the planes. Go back by the stairs and enter the plane. Shoot the planes for a while and watch the ship sink.
