Are you coming up short in your quest to earn that Mascot dressphere? Missing the events that earn the all-important Episode Complete ranking for each area of Spira? Let us help. Using the guide below as a reference, you'll find each and every requirement for the maximum result of each Episode in Final Fantasy X-2, in the fastest way possible, to earn the best ending for each of the various areas of Spira. It won't nab you 100% in a single game, but if you're looking to get every area fully cleared to earn the Gullwings' prized garment, this is your bible.

Note: This guide assumes you give the awesome sphere to the Youth League Ц if you give it to Yevon, some things may be different at Mushroom Rock, Kilika, & Bevelle. Also, you're expected to visit all areas in Chapter 3 for possible commsphere events that lead to earning Episode Complete (as you place the necessary commspheres in this chapter, but you'll visit them all anyway, sans Luca, if you want Mascot anyhow)

Besaid Island
Chapter 1 - Complete the "Where's Wakka?" mission
Chapter 2 - Get score of 500 in Beclem's Gunner's Gauntlet
***You do not have to beat your previous score if playing a second time, just get 500***
Chapter 3 - Complete Besaid Cloister of Trials hotspot mission
Chapter 4 - View commsphere scenes until you see one where Beclem mentions his departure
Chapter 5 - Find Beclem at the dock and get СWar Buddy' sphere from him, find Wakka and give him the sphere

Kilika Island
Chapter 1 Ц See cutscenes at Dona's house
Chapter 2 - View cutscene at Kilika Docks after giving the awesome sphere to either New Yevon or Youth League
Chapter 3 - Complete Kilika Cloister of Trials hotspot mission
Chapter 4 - View all possible commsphere transmissions at both Kilika Island and Temple before and after the Toli Hunt mission
Chapter 5 - Enter Kilika and watch the cutscenes

Luca
Chapter 1 - Complete "Сreal Commotion?" mission
Chapter 2 - Visit the Square in Luca and do the interview with Shelinda
Chapter 5 Ц Watch Blitzball cutscene, do СFollow that Moogle!' mission
***Sphere Break tournament mission in Chapter 3 is not required for Episode Complete***

Mi'ihen Highroad
Chapter 1 - See recollection cutscene, walk Highroad
Chapter 2 - Capture a Chocobo for Calli, defeat Chocobo Eater
Chapter 3 - Complete "Machina Mayhem!" mission
Chapter 4 Ц Complete "Rin's Mi'ihen Mystery" commsphere mission, finding Rikku or Chocobo Eater guilty
Chapter 5 Ц Discover the results of the Mi'ihen Mystery

Mushroom Rock Road
Chapter 1 - Run through Mushroom Rock Road on the way to the Youth League HQ
Chapter 2 Ц Speak to Yaibal, then head to Youth League HQ and talk with Lucil & Elma
Chapter 2 Ц Beat Ormi & Logos to acquire Syndicate uniform on the Djose Highroad
***Can be triggered from either Mushroom Rock or Djose Temple***
Chapter 5 - Win Youth League Battle Tournament
***Alternately, you can earn an extra Episode Complete finding all 10 Crimson Spheres and clearing Den of Woe sidequest***

Djose Temple
Chapter 1 - Sign up to become a Bikanel Desert digger by speaking to Gippal
Chapter 3 Ц Complete Djose Cloister of Trials hotspot mission
Chapter 5 Ц Defeat the Experiment, then raise it to level 5 (by gathering parts in the desert via digging) and beat it again

Moonflow
Chapter 1 - Complete "Shave The Hypello?" mission without losing anything to the bandits
Chapter 2 - Complete "YRP, The Scalpers Three!" mission by selling all 10 tickets given to you by Tobli
Chapter 4 - Complete "Tobli Hunt" mission
Chapter 5 - Visit the Moonflow, and say Сlet's go on stage!' when prompted
*** You cannot get Episode Complete unless you let nothing be stolen and sell all 10 tickets***

Guadosalam
Chapter 1 Ц Find Tromell at Spring near Lake Macalania exit, speak to him four times
Chapter 1 Ц Walk through Macalania Woods, finding the three musicians
Chapter 2 Ц Gather three Syndicate uniforms and complete Leblanc Chateau infiltration
Chapter 3 Ц Defeat Garik at summit of Mt. Gagazet
Chapter 5 Ц Speak with Tromell twice in a row

Thunder Plains
Chapter 1 - Tell Cid Сyou bet I do!' when he asks if you have a bone to pick at the Zanarkand Chamber of the Fayth
Chapter 2, 3 Ц Find and speak with Cid (locations marked with a pink X on minimap)
Chapter 4 Ц Complete pre-concert events, 1000 Words CG performance
Chapter 5 - Complete "Fallen Genius" mission and rescue Cid from hole/cave
***The lightning calibration mini-game isn't required for Episode Complete, nor 100% completion***

Macalania Woods
Chapter 1 Ц Complete same Ch. 1 events as the Guadosalam section covers
Chapter 1 Ц Catch O'aka, and either stow him on the Celsius or turn him over to Al Bhed
Chapter 2 - Complete "Seeking Musicians?" Mission
Chapter 3 - Complete Lake Macalania Travel Agency rescue mission
***If you do this mission before paying off O'aka's debt, you can't get an optional Episode Complete***
Chapter 5 Ц Visit spring opposite Campsite, near Bevelle and Calm Lands entrances
***Optional Episode Complete can be gained, but not in replacement of main Ep. Complete***

Bikanel Island
Chapter 1 - Get digging license from Gippal at Djose Temple
Chapter 1 - Head to new Bikanel hotspot and complete the task assigned
Chapter 2 Ц Beat Logos at the Oasis and obtain Syndicate uniform
Chapter 3, 5 Ц Find all cactaurs hidden throughout Spira
***This quest can be started as early as Chapter 3, but cannot be finished until Chapter 5***
Chapter 5 - Defeat Angra Mainyu

Bevelle
Chapter 1 Ц Enter Bevelle and meet Baralai
Chapter 2 Ц Complete "Operation: Infiltrate Bevelle" hotspot mission
Chapter 3 Ц After Djose Temple becomes a hotspot, follow Gippal into the Bevelle depths
Chapter 4 Ц Be sure to view all Zanarkand Ruins commsphere transmissions in full, before and after Tobli Hunt mission
Chapter 5 Ц Enter Bevelle, watch cutscene
***If you return and enter Via Infinito, Bevelle becomes a hotspot. This does not change your Episode Complete status***

Calm Lands
Chapter 1-5 Ц Raise either Open Air or Argent to publicity level 5 doing Publicity Campaign sidequest
Chapter 3 Ц Complete Cavern of the Stolen Fayth rescue mission
***Chocobo Ranch quests have no bearing on Episode Complete, nor does the "Here Comes The Bride" matchmaking sidequest***

Mt. Gagazet
Chapter 1, 2 - Talk with Kimahri
Chapter 2 - Find and speak with Lian and Ayde at the Calm Lands Travel Agency
Chapter 2 Ц Defeat Ormi and obtain Syndicate uniform
***There are 2 ways to accomplish this task***
Chapter 3 - Talk to Lian and Ayde again at the Thunder Plains
***It doesn't matter where you tell them to go, though saying Kilika earns Yuna some amusing flak from her friends***

Chapter 2 Ц Complete monkey matchmaking quest in the Zanarkand Dome

Chapter 4 Ц See all Zanarkand commsphere scenes before and after Tobli Hunt mission
Chapter 5 - Merely visit Zanarkand
