News: Committed publishers and developers for the Xbox Next and what will become of the Xbox.

Microsoft today announced a list of publishers and developers that have pledged their support to the Xbox Next. So without further ado, here's the dream team:

2KGames
Activision
Atari
Bandai
Bethesda Softworks
Buena Vista Games
Capcom
Codemasters
Eidos Interactive
Electronic Arts
From Software
InterServ
International

Koei
Konami
LucasArts
Majesco
Midway
Namco
Phantagram
Rockstar Games
SCi
Sega
Tecmo
THQ
TWP
Ubisoft
Vivendi Universal
Games

Webzen

This is in addition to Microsoft's already committed stable of 1st and 2nd party developers:

BioWare
Bizarre Creations
Bungie Studios
Epic Games
FASA Studio
Lionhead Studios
Rare

Microsoft was also proud to announce the participation of several newly formed Japanese studios including Yoshiki Okamoto's Game Republic, Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker and
Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment.

Finally, it looks like the Xbox won't be going quietly into that dark closet when the Xbox Next arrives. Microsoft announced that they have plans to support the Xbox through 2007. Of course, what these games will be is still in the dark.
