News: Full Auto 2: Battlelines will bring more car-combat to the next generation.
Sega announced that more destruction is bound for the next-generation as Full Auto 2: Battlelines is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 3, leaving Xbox 360 in its rearview mirror.
Like the Xbox 360 original from February, Full Auto 2 will feature high-speed vehicles outfitted with weapons and armor, fully destructible urban streets and fierce combat-racing. It will also bring back everyone's favorite УUnwreckФ feature, which enables you to turn back time (think: Prince of Persia) in an effort to avoid deadly crashes.
New to the sequel is Arena Mode. This will feature team play and six different levels, each specifically designed for a unique type of multiplayer car combat. You can also expect the campaign mode to feature multi-paths courses throughout six different districts located in fictitious Staunton City and the multiplayer mode to feature six different types of play from classic deathmatches to unique base assaults.
Keep in mind that coincidentally, the last paragraph contains three different 6's. The presence of 666 may mean that this game is evil, especially if you're an Xbox 360 owner that loved the first Full Auto and feel forced to purchase a PS3 in order to enjoy the sequel. Seeing the incredible destruction from 360 version, it may be worth it knowing that the PS3 should deliver even more chaotic combat-racing whenever the game comes out. No release date as of yet, but maybe we'll get that news and a chance to try out an early version of the Full Auto 2 at E3.
