Special: Target. It. All.

Gaming Target has turned a new page today with the official launch of Gaming Target Retro, a collection of articles that focus on a time when gaming was simpler.

The Retro section will include all of the information on the games you used to love (and still do, admit it) for all of the major video game systems including the Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, Game Gear, Super NES, Saturn, PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast. We'll also be delving into the classics of the PC, Game Boy Original and Game Boy Color.

These classic consoles will be given the royal treatment with several different kinds of articles. Retrospectives will examine the history of the hall of fame franchises. Rewind Reviews will take an in-depth look at some of our favorite (and not so favorite) games from the past. Other articles will just wax nostalgic, because who doesn't love a waxy gamer? In time, a large collection of classic codes and cheats will also be found in the Gaming Target archive.

So take a gander at that "Retro" link that is floating up near the top of the page, or point your browser to GamingTarget.com/retro.php to relive all the old school goodness. For the complete experience, our complete archive of retro articles will be found at the Retro List.

If you're a fan of retro games then "A winner is you!"
