News: We're taking a bit of a break, but we'll see you in the new year.
On an answering machine somewhere in the bowels of Gaming Target HQ:
The editors of Gaming Target can't come to the Internet right now as we'll be spending the next seven days imbibing in the spirit of the holidays. But don't worry, we've chained John the dog-faced news boy to his desk, so if an important story breaks between now and Dick Clark's ball drops, we'll have it covered.
Regular updates will resume on Monday, January 1st when we plan to post our year-end look back at the games of 2006 with our '52 Games We'll Still Be Playing From 2006' five part feature.
But if you've had your fill of Christmas dinner and egg nog and are looking for something more substansial, be sure to check out the best of Gaming Target from 2006. Like the time we asked the question, Can the Wii Save the Adventure Game? or the time we took a look at the Kreate A Fighter feature of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (and tweaked Jack Thompson in the process) with Kreate A Fighter Kraziness.
So have a safe, happy and game filled holiday, and we'll see you soon.
