News: THQ brings Tetris to Xbox 360 in one month.

Tetris is being pieced together for release on Xbox 360 in March, the first game from the famed puzzle series for a next-generation console.

In addition to providing classic Tetris gameplay, this high-definition title adds new modes Get Low and Eraser. It allows four players to compete via split screen or Xbox Live, which matches players based on skill and features an online ladder system. Live gamers can accumulate Xbox Live achievement points to increase their Gamerscore.

Customizable themes, skins, icons and soundtracks help personalize this Tetris experience and make it look evolved along with the HD background videos and 3D blocks.

GameFly gives it a release date of March 21, 2007, though the official press release just places the launch within March 2007. More titillating details on Tetris Evolution as it... evolves.
