Warhawk public beta now online @ Gaming Target

News: Sony updates PSN with a downloadable beta, an arcade classic and video content.

PlayStation Network is now featuring the Warhawk public beta on its front page for PS3 owners who were lucky enough to receive an invitation.

This PlayStation remake weights in at the download size of 776 MB. Its a multiplayer-only air and ground affair and supposed to be the full game, not a mere demo. Warhawk is set to release in download form on the PlayStation Network and on Blu-Ray in the third quarter of 2007. Users who won't have a chance to try out the game until that future date can check back with Gaming Target for a full review soon.
