News: Gamers will have to wait a bit longer to step into the myth.
There are only a few things that we can count on in life: death, taxes, and that the game you're waiting for will be delayed by a few months. Theseis, the upcoming adventure/platformer from Track7 Games is being pushed back to a TBA 2008 release. The game was previously on track for a late 2007 release on the PC and Xbox 360.
Theseis puts players in the roles of two investigators of the supernatural, a sort of Mediterranean Mulder and Scully searching for clues in the disappearance of their adoptive father. Players will solve puzzles in an intense, action-oriented atmosphere in a setting that combines present-day excitement with ancient Greek myth. And along the way, they'll discover that the investigators themselves have a few paranormal tricks up their sleeves.
Track7 Games is based in Greece and we recently had a chance to sit down with the game's product manager, Demetris Papadopoulos, for a short interview that looks at some of Theseis' gameplay concepts and the game's status as the first AAA title to come out of Greece.
