News: The PS3 and 360 versions of the game are complete.

Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed has gone gold today and is on track to launch in North America on November 13, 2007.

The "gold" status, which means production of a game has ended and its release is imminent, applies to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. A PC version of the game is expected in early 2008 along with a Nintendo DS edition.

Assassin's Creed will be made available in two forms when it releases in three weeks. In addition to the typical $60 SKU, a Limited Edition version can be had for $70. Further adding value to the game, GameStop pre-ordered copies come with an exclusive Assassin's Creed art book bonus.

Expect a full review of the hotly anticipated Ubisoft game when it releases on Tuesday, November 13.
