News: Extra content to be announced for the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4.

Popular Japanese gaming bible 'Famitsu', excited everyone with news of Devil May Cry 4 exclusive content for the PS3. According to Capcom, the PS3 version will feature 5.1 LPCM audio, optional install data on the PS3 hard drive and Playstation Network support. The install option removes all loading times during game play and only costs you 5GB in space, a nice feature.

Is this the only exclusive content? I doubt it. Sure I can't install it onto my 360, but this all seems like basic features the PS3 should be using with every game released onto it's library. So will the PSN support mean PS3 fans will be receiving extra weapons, bosses or characters? Episodic content? Or maybe the game will come with the above extras included/downloadable for free while 360 owners will have to shed out precious Microsoft Points to get them.

I'm not a fan of companies giving certain consoles extra content, although I have ended up buying a few titles on multiple formats. I find it frustrating to spend even more money on ultimately the same game. It's happened before with Eternal Sonata and I am sure it won't stop there.
