Neverwinter Nights 2

News: Infogrames financial documents tips hand on two unannounced titles, details sales broken down by platforms.



Infogrames' financial report was released to the world today and with it they tipped their hand on their upcoming titles for fiscal year 2008. First off is news of a title dubbed Airborne Rangers coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. MicroProse released a game called Airborne Ranger in 1987, although it is unknown if there is any relation.

Next came the announcement of a second Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion with the working title of Neverwinter Night 2 Expansion Pack 2. Both titles will be released during the 2008-2009 fiscal year with NeverWinter Night 2 Expansion Pack 2 being a PC exclusive.



Also of note for those following up on the 2007 Console War in Review story is the distribution of Infogrames' sales across platforms. Playstation 2 took the top spot with 38% while ?mass-market consoles? denoted as Nintendo DS and Wii took the second sales slot at 28%. The PC pulled in a respectable 17% on its own followed by ?next-generation consoles? (PS3 and 360) with 13% and lastly PSP at 8%.
