News: Not the best April Fools announcement.
Yesterday, the 33 employees of Stormfront Studios were told that the company was shutting its doors after 20 years. The company mostly produced movie-based games such as Spiderwick Chronicles, Eragon and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
Reasons for the closure include an unnamed project that was "not making any revenue." However, it's safe to speculate that February's Spiderwick Chronicles game is that unnamed game because Eragon released in 2006 and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers came out even earlier in 2002.
