Japanese developer, Hudson Soft, has announced plans to raise profits up to 400 percent; by primarily developing for the Nintendo Wii over the next three years. The developer already has a planned eight titles coming in 2008 according to Gamasutra.
Company president, Michihiro Ishizuka, had this to say:
Two years from now will be the time when game-software developers' profits are expected to grow the most, after the winner and loser for consoles becomes clear. I will ensure earnings jump in the next three years by promoting licensing of our games and increasing spending on promotions.
Hudson Soft have already seen major success on the Wii with the Mario themed party game, Mario Party 8.
