News: Really?
We all know Hideo Kojima is a perfectionist of his craft. So when and the rest of the Kojima Productions team set out to make the best Metal Gear Solid game ever, that is exactly what they intended to do. But, Hideo Kojima is not satisfied with a few things in the final product.
During a recent interview with
EDGE magazine, he points out that:
the graphic, side things like motion-blending and the size of the map, totally was not accomplished to my original vision - to my satisfaction.
He goes on to point out that the team was restricted in what they could do with Cell.
I remember saying three years ago that we wanted to create something revolutionary, but in reality we couldn't really do that because of the CPU. We're using the Cell engine to its limit, actually.
Sounds like the man really had one ambitious title in his head. Pushing next-gen technology to its limits and it still wasn't enough.
