News: Amazon.com holds an 8-game discount day for Nintendo Wii.

Leading Internet retailer Amazon.com is selling eight different Wii games at a considerable discount today, part of the company's Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals promotion.

The Deal of the Day is Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. It's selling for $13.98 when the original retailer value is $30. Since this game isn't the most desirable of Wii titles, all eyes and refresh buttons will be on the undisclosed Lighting Deals, the first of which starts at 9 AM Eastern.

The second Lighting Deal is able to be seen and purchased at 1 PM and will be followed by another discounted game every hour until 4 PM. The remaining deals occur at 6 PM and 9 PM.

Lighting Deals are not only limited by time, but also Amazon's game allotment. So, if people purchase 100% of the retailer's stock of a particular game, the sale ends early. A percentage bar appears next to the discounted game when its unveiled.

Lighting Deals for games tend to end quickly, so be sure to take note of the start times and remember that all of the times on Amazon.com are listed as Pacific.
