News: Find out when you'll be able to get the second half of the Watchmen episodic brawler.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has finally revealed when the second part to Watchmen: The End is Nigh will be made available on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will be available as a disc-based retail package bundled with Part 1 and also available to download on each platform's respective download service.
However, for PS3 owners that want to purchase the disc version, it will only be available bundled with the Watchmen movie on July 21:
Watchmen: The End is Nigh - The Complete Experience will include Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 and the Watchmen: Director's Cut on Blu-ray. This new cut of the action-packed blockbuster includes an additional 25 minutes of footage not seen in theaters, available only on Blu-ray and DVD. The two-disc collectible set will also feature exclusive artwork in a premium package. The game will be playable on the PS3 which can also play the Blu-ray disc of Watchmen: Director's Cut. The Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience will be available on July 21 for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
The Xbox 360 will also receive the disc-based version of July 21, but without the movie bundle. Instead, it will be titled
Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 and it will be released as a single game available for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
The downloadable version of
Watchmen: The End is Nigh Part 2 will hit the PC ($14.99) on July 29 and it will be available on the PlayStation Network on July 30 ($14.99). Xbox 360 owners interested in downloading the game through the Xbox Live Arcade will have to wait a little bit longer as the game won't be added to the Xbox 360's downloadable game service until August 26, where it will be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
We'll have more soon.
