News: If you ever wanted to get Wipeout HD, now is the time.

Sony has announced that seven PlayStation Network titles (including some of the service's biggest hits) will be 50% off this week. The sale will last from now until the next PlayStation Store update on July 23:

  • WipEout HD (was $19.99, now $14.99!)
  • Flock! (was $14.99, now $7.49!)
  • Savage Moon (was $9.99, now $4.99!)
  • Crash Commando (was $9.99, $4.99!)
  • PixelJunk Eden (was $9.99, now $4.99!)
  • Brain Challenge (was $9.99, now $4.99!)
  • 3 on 3 NHL Arcade (was $9.99, now $4.99!)

As yesterday was Thursday, Sony has also added a smattering of new games to the PlayStation Network as well.

The only PlayStation Network game is Namco Museum Essentials, a six game collection of classic Namco arcade titles. Spec Ops: Ranger Elite, a PSone Classic was also added and is playable on the PS3 or the PSP. And speaking of the PSP, Sony has made three more PSP games available for download: Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This?, Myst and Unbound Saga.

Finally, another costume pack for LittleBigPlanet has been made available to download, this one inspired by the recently released Ghostbusters. For $5.99, LBP owners can now dress their Sackboy up in the Ghostbusters' uniform or as Slimer, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and the Ghostbusters' "No Ghosts" logo. Details on other add-ons are available at the PlayStation.Blog link above.

But more on all of these week's releases can be found below.
