News: Another one bites the dust... hey hey... another one bites the dust.
Capcom's Dark Void, a jetpack-fueled romp through the Bermuda Triangle, was originally scheduled to be released this Fall on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Instead, the game has been pushed back to early 2010 because, according to Capcom-Unity's Chris Kramer, the company wanted "to get the game out of the crowded fall game season."
A variety of companies have used this reasoning when delaying one of their games to 2010. As the list continues to grow, the early 2010 season is beginning to look like a second Christmas for a lot of gamers. Kramer specifically called out Halo 3: ODST as one game Capcom was trying to avoid by delaying Dark Void:
"The move will be great for the game and for gamers: less competition in the market (curse you, Halo!), more time for polish."
We'll have more soon.
