News: Get a 'Crash Course' in a new campaign.

Valve has announced that they plan to make more downloadable content available for Left 4 Dead this September. Titled "Crash Course", the DLC will deliver new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay on the PC and Xbox 360.

Playable in both Survival and Co-op Campaign, "Crash Course" is being designed to offer a quicker way to play Versus mode. Valve's goal is to create a complete Versus mode experience that is playable in just 30 minutes. So if you're an L4D player who can only play in short bursts, this is the DLC for you.

Storywise, "Crash Course" will explain what happens between the "No Mercy" and "Death Toll" campaigns with new locations and new dialogue from the original cast.

The "Crash Course" campaign will be offered for free to PC owners of Left 4 Dead while Xbox 360 players will be able to download it from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 560 Microsoft Points ($7).

We'll have more soon.
