News: Sony dates two more PlayStation platform exclusives for this Fall.

Sony has put release dates to two of its upcoming Fall releases, EyePet and MotorStorm: Arctic Edge.

EyePet is a PlayStation 3 game that is a little bit like Nintendogs, except instead of a cute puppy, you're master to some weird looking alien monkey. Using the PlayStation Eye camera, you control your virtual pet by literally sitting with it on the floor:

If you aren't familiar with EyePet, it's basically all the fun of owning a pet without the mess! Featuring next generation augmented reality, EyePet delivers an interactive lifelike, virtual pet right into your own living room using the PS Eye. He will respond and relate to movements in your own world. Pet him, and he will purr. Tickle him and he will laugh. Roll a ball to him and he will chase it. You get the point.

EyePet will be released for the PS3 on November 17 in both a standalone edition ($39.99) and a PS Eye/game bundle ($59.99).

Sony has also given a release date to the PSP version of MotorStorm: Arctic Edge. The first snowbound (and handheld) entry in the MotorStorm series will be released in stores on September 29 and added to the PlayStation Store on October 1 (the same day as the release of the PSP Go).

The PlayStation 2 will also be receiving a version of MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, with split-screen multiplayer, but it won't be released until "later this Fall."

We'll have more soon.
