News: Find out which ones inside.

With Guitar Hero 5 in stores today, Destructoid examined the new game's much touted import/re-download feature for Guitar Hero: World Tour.

After a little experimentation (and paying a $3.50/350 Wii Points/250 Microsoft Points license fee), Destructoid user "Joker's Boner" found out that only 35 of the game's 85 tracks can be imported into Guitar Hero 5. That's a paltry 41% and a far cry from Activision's claim that "a lot" of Guitar Hero: World Tour's songs would be compatible with Guitar Hero 5.

Here is a list of the Guitar Hero: World Tour songs that you can redownload in Guitar Hero 5:

  • 30 Seconds to Mars - "The Kill"
  • The Answer - "Never Too Late"
  • At the Drive-In - "One Armed Scissor"
  • Beastie Boys - "No Sleep Till Brooklyn"
  • Pat Benatar - "Heartbreaker"
  • Black Label Society - "Still Born"
  • Blink-182 - "Dammit"
  • Blondie - "One Way or Another"
  • Bon Jovi - "Livin' on a Prayer"
  • Coldplay - "Shiver"
  • Creedence Clearwater Revival - "Up Around The Bend"
  • Foo Fighters - "Everlong"
  • Hushpuppies - "You're Gonna Say Yeah!"
  • Interpol - "Obstacle 1"
  • Jimmy Eat World - "The Middle"
  • Lenny Kravitz - "Are You Gonna Go My Way"
  • Lacuna Coil - "Our Truth"
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Sweet Home Alabama (Live)"
  • The Mars Volta - "L'Via L'Viaquez"
  • Motorhead - "Overkill"
  • Nirvana - "About a Girl (Unplugged)"
  • No Doubt - "Spiderwebs"
  • NOFX - "Soul Doubt"
  • Ted Nugent - "Stranglehold"
  • Rise Against - "Re-Education Through Labor"
  • Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band - "Hollywood Nights"
  • Silversun Pickups - "Lazy Eye"
  • The Smashing Pumpkins - "Today"
  • Steely Dan - "Do it Again"
  • The Steve Miller Band - "The Joker"
  • Sting - "Demolition Man (Live)"
