News: Their 70s secret agent simulator is coming much sooner than we'd thought.
When Rockstar announced the PlayStation 3-exclusive Agent at this year's E3 expo, they did it with little more than the game's logo and a promise that it'll be awesome. Now, they've revealed that gamers may get a chance to play the 70s secret agent simulator sooner than they thought.
In an FAQ posted on the official Rockstar News Wire concerning Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony and Episodes From Liberty City, the company also slipped in a few details on what they plan to offer PS3 owners in 2010 and beyond:
We appreciate the enthusiasm of PlayStation 3 owners and believe us, we understand where you're coming from. That's why we are working hard on a lineup of PlayStation 3 releases for 2010 that we know you will be very excited to play - including Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, and the PlayStation 3 exclusive AGENT, which is a brand-new title from Rockstar North, the creators of the Grand Theft Auto series. Plus there's more yet to be announced... Thanks again for your patience and please stay with us!
Of course, with Agent still heavily under wraps, I'd wager a guess that it's likely at least a year away (Fall 2010 or later) as opposed to a few months away (the almost mythical first quarter of 2010).
We'll have more soon.
