News: Legacy of Kain, Silent Hill and Syphon Filter 2 added for your PSone playing pleasure.

Earlier this year, Sony pledged to ramp up the number of PSone Classics available on the PlayStation Store. Yesterday's update, and the updates from the past few weeks, prove that Sony meant every word of that pledge.

This week, three Mature-rated classics that helped show the world that the PSone was not just for the kids will be added to the store. They include the first game in the Legacy of Kain series, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, the second Syphon Filter game, Syphon Filter 2, and the survival horror classic, Silent Hill.

Sony has also added the HD remake of Turtles in Time, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled, to the store this week, a month after the Xbox Live Arcade release.

A variety of game add-ons and demos were added to the store yesterday as well. These include demos of LittleBigPlanet and the upcoming Katamari Forever and Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. The cast of celebrity characters available in Pain has increased by one as Sony is offering a George Takei download $1.99. Players will be able to launch Mr. Sulu through the air with Takei himself commenting on the proceedings.

Finally, a duo of downloadable PSP games were made available yesteday. They include Wipeout Pulse ($22.99) and Wild Arms XF ($14.99).

More details on all of these games can be found below.
