The wait is finally over, Square Enix has released the original, unaltered, 8-bit Final Fantasy on the Virtual Console. One of the greatest RPGs of the NES era will be available to download this week for 500 Wii Points ($5).
The Wii Shop will also receive a new WiiWare title this week, the rather self-explanatory Word Searcher. Finally, the DSiWare Shop will be receiving the sci-fi shooter Thorium Wars.
