News: A release date and a new trailer for the fourth Jak and Daxter game.

While EyePet won't be released this November as planned, Sony is filling the gap by announcing that Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier will be released for the PlayStation 2 and PSP on November 3. A downloadable version playable on the PSP Go and the standard PSP will be released that same week.

The Lost Frontier will be the first Jak and Daxter game in three years as original developer Naughty Dog has been hard at work on the Uncharted series. Because of that, development duties were handled by High Impact Games.

While the latest game in one of Sony's most popular franchises has received little attention before now, a new trailer was released in honor of the game's finalized release date:

We'll have more soon.
