News: Dave Grohl is doing DLC double duty next week.
Dave Grohl will be pulling double duty in next week's update to the Rock Band Music Store. That's because both of Grohl's band, Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, will both be represented with new track packs. It will be the third pack for the Foo Fighters and the second for Nirvana.
The Foo Fighters Pack 03 will contain fours songs and be available to download on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $6.99/560 Microsoft Points:
Foo Fighters - "Best of You"
Foo Fighters - "The Pretender"
Foo Fighters - "Wheels"
Foo Fighters - "Word Forward"
Meanwhile, the Nirvana Bleach Pack will contain three songs and be available to download on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $5.49/440 Microsoft Points:
Nirvana Ц "About a Girl"
Nirvana Ц "Blew"
Nirvana Ц "School"
Harmonix also plans to add "Fake Friends" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts to the store as an individual song download.
As usual, all of the tracks will also be available to download individually for $1.99, 160 Microsoft Points or 200 Wii Points each. The tracks will be available to download on the Xbox 360 and Wii on Tuesday, November 3 while PlayStation 3 owners will get a chance to download them on Thursday, November 5.
Finally, the PSP Rock Band Store for Rock Band Unplugged will receive two new tracks, "Waking the Demon" from Bullet For My Valentine and "Toxicity" from System of a Down. Each track will be able to be downloaded for $1.99 each when they're added to the store on Thursday, November 5.
