News: If you didn't spring for the Hardened or Prestige Edition, now's your chance to get the remake.
If you purchased the Hardened or Prestige Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you also received early access to Call of Duty Classic, an Xbox Live Arcade/PlayStation Network remake of the first entry in the series. This week, the game will finally be made available for the rest of us who haven't yet taken the Modern Warfare 2 plunge.
The World War II shooter will be added to the Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, December 2 and it will be downloadable for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). A day later, on Thursday, December 3, the game will be added to the PlayStation Network, at a price of $14.99.
Call of Duty Classic will include all 24 missions found in the 2003 PC release, redone in high definition. The game will also include online multiplayer for up to eight players. More information on the game can be found here:
