News: Modern Warfare 2, X-Men Origins Wolverine and Dragon Age Origins all took home two awards.

While the highlight of the 2009 Spike TV Video Game Awards was the world premiere trailers of a dozen different games, the awards themselves managed to do a good job of rewarding the top games from 2009.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves lead the night with three awards including Best Graphics, Best PS3 Game and overall Game of the Year. Several games took home two awards including X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Best Cast and Best Performance by a Human Male), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Best Shooter and Best Multiplayer Game) and Dragon Age: Origins (Best RPG and Best PC Game).

Here's the full list of winners and if God of War III's coronation as Most Anticipated Game is any indication, the 2010 awards should be a very spirited competition.
