News: Mega Man 10 is just as pretty as Mega Man 9.

Yesterday, Capcom held a 22nd Birthday Celebration for Mega Man at Capcom Unity. The webcast included an interview with Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and several other special guests. During the two hour chat, Inafune talked about all things Mega Man, including how he wants to resurrect the Powered Up and Mega Man Legends spinoff franchises. He also unveiled the first trailer for Mega Man 10.

The trailer kept the Robot Masters hidden in silhouette, but it did reveal the general feel of what the game will look like (and the graphics in all their 8-bit glory). The eight levels shown have also revealed a few hints as to what powers the Robot Masters will have and what environments they'll rule...

  • Stadium (Sports Man?)
  • Cityscape
  • Sewer
  • Ice and Snow
  • Desert
  • Fire and Lava
  • Factory (Sheep Man's level)
  • Flying Axes (Axe Man?)

The trailer also revealed that Mega Man 10, like Mega Man 9, will be available on WiiWare, the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Arcade when it is released this March.

While the trailer is completely in Japanese, The Mega Man Network has uploaded it to YouTube for your viewing pleasure:

UPDATE: Capcom has released an English version of the trailer that shows how the Roboenza makes robots turn violent and attempt to take over the world! Also, the sky has turned red! Here's the English trailer...
