News: To escape the crowded Q1 2010 rush.

Capcom Japan has issued a financial report today announcing that they plan to delay several games that were planned to be released in early 2010. The company has said that the (unnamed) games were delayed so as not to compete with the wide variety of games scheduled for release in early 2010.

Rather than attempt to guess which games will be affected by the delay, I'll just reference the Twitter account of the Capcom-Unity blog, which confirms Monster Hunter Tri, Super Street Fighter IV and Lost Planet 2 as the delayed games.

No new release dates were given for the delayed games, but Capcom did say that they will be released throughout Capcom's 2010 fiscal year (which runs from April 1, 2010 - March 31, 2011).

We'll have more soon.
