Katamari Forever

"Katamari Forever is the penultimate game in the series thus far; a collection of the best levels combined in a modest port of Beautiful Katamari along with the introduction of yet another awesome new character makes for a game that rekindles the love for rolling. First-timers to the series are definitely the best targets; this shows the series at its very best, though die-hard fanatics should be quite pleased with the variety and usual humor. Yeah, it's a rehash in a series that has tended to have original content in each game, but the new gameplay enhancements and fun new stuff is at least an attempt to evolve the series, which hasn't happened thus far. Years in the making and subject to more hype and hyperbole than you would expect from the previously second tier Killzone series, Sony and Guerilla Games made good on their promise by finally creating a "Halo killer". With graphics that are light years ahead of everything else and a dystopian atmosphere to set the mood, Killzone 2 proved all the naysayers wrong by emerging as one of the great shooters of 2009. - John Scalzo

"Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again is a great game that shows that Nintendo is slowly but surely becoming more comfortable with the idea of downloadble games. Although it does borrow a lot form its predecessor, to release a game of this size and with this much effort put behind it at a cheaper price ($8.00) on a system with a lower installed base and through a service that can only be accessed through the internet is a little risky for such a conservative company. But outside of the Art Style games, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again is the best reason to own a DSi so far." -Jordan Minor
